Information That May Reach Us
A search query entered into a search box may be sent to the third-party provider that powers that box. The provider controls its own data practices and may associate a query with device or account data under its terms. A message sent through a contact method may include the sender’s name, email address, message text, and any detail the sender chooses to add.
Normal technical data may include an IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring page, approximate time, and error details. Cookies or similar tools may support basic functions, measure traffic, remember settings, or help advertising and analytics partners operate. The Gooding County records hub does not itself publish a jail roster or booking-photo gallery.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to answer a message, keep pages working, understand which source routes are useful, protect the service, prevent abuse, measure visits, and improve wording about the Gooding County Sheriff, county request process, or Idaho iCourt. Search partners may process queries under their own notices.
Public-record questions should be directed to the originating office. This site does not use a private message as proof of custody, guilt, or a court result.
Who May Receive Data
Depending on how a person uses the pages, information may be available to search partners, hosting and security providers, analytics vendors, advertising networks, service contractors, or a government or law-enforcement agency acting under a valid legal order. A linked office such as Gooding County Jail, a city clerk, IDOC, BOP, or ICE receives data only under its own service, request, or legal process.
Outside links are not controlled by this site. Review the privacy notice of each destination before sending a record request or entering a search.
Security and Retention
Reasonable safeguards may be used, but no online transmission or storage system is guaranteed secure. Retention depends on the type of information, the purpose for which it was received, service-provider settings, legal duties, and operational needs. A message may be retained long enough to answer it or maintain a record of the exchange.
Government records follow the rules of the government custodian. Idaho Code §§ 74-102 and 74-103 describe public-record request procedures, but this private site does not control the Gooding County Sheriff’s retention schedule or a court record.
Children and User Choices
The service is not intended for children under 18. Do not submit a juvenile’s identifying information or a protected record through a contact channel. A user may decline optional cookies where a browser or consent tool provides that choice, clear local storage, limit advertising controls, or avoid entering a query into a third-party box.
A person may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by this site when applicable. Some requests may need identity verification, may be limited by law, or may not cover information held by the Sheriff, jail, court, IDOC, news outlet, or search partner. Contact questions can be sent through the route named on the Contacts page.
Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may change when the service, partners, law, or source links change. The revised version takes effect when posted. A later version should be checked before submitting a search query or message.
